Bright Star
Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University
This production was ultimately canceled due to COVID-19 measures. A crew of four was used to paint the floor. We got as far as the back "deck" area needing a wash, the center medallion needing to be finished, and then sealed.

Twelfth Night
Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University
As the paint charge, I led a crew of seven to execute the design of this show. Inspired by Romantic and highly textural oil paintings, the treatment consisted of scenic texture to create dimensional "brush strokes" on trees, mountainsides, and clouds. The floor treatment consisted of an ocean, sand, wood planks, and grass. A highly diverse set of skills were utilized and required training an inexperienced crew.

Opera Scenes
Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University
This was an exciting project to work on as I was given a lot of freedom while working on the floor. There were stamps and sprays used on it to create a bright and dimensional feeling of a field of flowers with one gorgeous flower in the middle. The garden gate from Twelfth Night was repurposed and used again here, with the same wood treatment on the fence. The "flower drops" were dyed coffee filters. All backdrops were painted by and borrowed from Scott Loebl.
